more healed testimonies: receiving healing. overcoming symptoms

Reading the others’ healed testimonies often let faith arise in us and the power of the Son of God Himself in us manifests to destroy the works of the devil, whatever diseases or infirmities which presented in our bodies.

This blogger often relied on the Bible to overcome the bodily symptoms which affected functioning. In a recent emergence of painful symptoms I listened to healing verses and also the audio Bible persistently. I noted the obvious disappearance of the inflammation and pain, and miraculous restoration of normal healthy spinal functioning. When a second set of different symptoms hit (with flu kind of presentation), I continued listening to the audio Bible and proclaimed the healing verse which I have always found powerful, “By Jesus’ stripes I am healed”, the bout of coughing stopped and the lump of phlegm stuck at my chest loosened and came out by itself after that with one mere autonomous push from inside without effort!

I am led in my spirit to share with readers today of testimonies during the Apostles time. Here are some powerful examples of how healing took place in the time of the apostles and early disciples.
Acts 3-4
a testimony of how a crippled man received a miraculous healing through Peter:
3:6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God...For the man was over forty years old on whom this miracle of healing had been performed. (Acts 3:1-10; 4:22)
In a subsequent prayer by all the disciples gathering to give thanks, they testified the actual One (God) who did the healing:

Acts 4:30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
MORE WORKS OF HEALING BY THE POWER OF GOD

Acts 5-12-16 Continuing Power in the Church

12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. 13 Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. 14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. 16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

Acts 8:4-8 Christ Is Preached in Samaria

Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Then Philip went down to the[a] city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city.

Acts 9:17-18 Ananias laid hand, healed and baptized Saul

17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus,[b] who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.

Acts 9:31-35 The Church Prospers: walking in the fear of God and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit

31 Then the churches[d] throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.

a man, Aeneas, bedridden for eight years was Healed

32 Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda. 33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed. 34 And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately. 35 So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

Acts 10:36-42 a woman disciple, Dorcas, dead and was restored to Life

36 At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did. 37 But it happened in those days that she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room… 40 But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up. 41 Then he gave her his hand and lifted her up; and when he had called the saints and widows, he presented her alive. 42 And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed on the Lord.

Acts 14:8-10
A man who had never walked from his mother’s womb was healed at Lystra
And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, 10 said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.

Acts 20:7-12 a young man who fell from the third story was resurrected at TroasNow on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight. There were many lamps in the upper room where they[a] were gathered together. And in a window sat a certain young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep. He was overcome by sleep; and as Paul continued speaking, he fell down from the third story and was taken up dead. 10 But Paul went down, fell on him, and embracing him said, “Do not trouble yourselves, for his life is in him.” 11 Now when he had come up, had broken bread and eaten, and talked a long while, even till daybreak, he departed. 12 And they brought the young man in alive, and they were not a little comforted.

Acts 28:7-10 Healing of many on Malta
In that region there was an estate of the leading citizen of the island, whose name was Publius, who received us and entertained us courteously for three days. And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him. So when this was done, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed. 10 They also honored us in many ways; and when we departed, they provided such things as were necessary.
