A healed person does not automatically know what to do. Some continue their former sickness behavior. Then they start doubting whether they have really been healed. This applies to both physical and mental health.
Let’s read what healed behavior Jesus expects.

Luke 8:26-39 describes a demon-possessed man who had been homeless, naked, living in a cemetery for a long time, healed by Jesus on their first encounter.
His healed behavior: fully clothed, perfectly sane, sitting at Jesus’ feet.
He begged to go with Jesus. But Jesus sent him home, saying, “No, go back to your family, and tell them everything God has done for you.”
So he went all through the town proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him.

Jesus allowed a group of former physical and mental ‘patients’ (including a very demonized woman called Mary Magdalene) follow Him as disciples and sponsors of His ministry.

Luke 8:1-3 Soon afterward Jesus began a tour of the nearby towns and villages, preaching and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom of God. He took his twelve disciples with him, 2 along with some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases. Among them were Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons; 3 Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s business manager; Susanna; and many others who were contributing from their own resources to support Jesus and his disciples.

John 4:4-42 recorded an outcast woman of infamous reputation (married five times and then living with someone else’s husband) being set free from her emotional bondages.
She immediately turned into an evangelist and witnessed for Jesus and many of her countrymen believed in Jesus because of her testimony.
Jesus didn’t stop her.

The formerly severely demonized man didn’t go back to live in the cemetery. The formerly physically ill, mental or demon possessed womend didn’t hide and rest at home as before. The outcast Samaritan woman didn’t quickly escape home and continued living an invisible life in the dark.
All came out into the light of Jesus and lived a full and dignified life as God has designed, planned and given.
This is their key to maintain their healing and the divine health that comes with the abundant life that Jesus has promised and given to all who believe.
