Today we read from Luke’s account of Jesus’ healing ministry on earth/
Jesus heals all who come to Him, whatever they suffer from: various disease, infirmities. He heals them regardless of how they come or who comes to Him. One thing the healed ones share in common is their faith in Jesus to heal them. They have a need. They come. Some come to listen to Him and be healed. Some come to touch Him (personal encounter). Some come in group. Some alone. Regardless of their conditions. Even those whom the medical physicians have exhausted their means and have declared cure-less. Jesus heals. Never did once He fails to heal.
[ Many Healed After Sabbath Sunset ] When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.
However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.
[ Jesus Heals a Great Multitude ] And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases,
And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.
[ A Girl Restored to Life and a Woman Healed ] So it was, when Jesus returned, that the multitude welcomed Him, for they were all waiting for Him.
Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any,
Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
