Healed testimony continued (revised 6/16/15)

born_again-howNotes on 6/16/15: Further to what I have written below, I am reminded this morning that in God’s perfect love there is no fear (1 John). I am also reminded that there are really many things I do not know about God and His healing way. I have recently been led to assure an elderly missionary who has served God faithfully for nearly 20 years in the mission field, and had to take medication to stop the severe incapacitating symptoms that had caused immense suffering to himself and his loved ones, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1 NKJV) I am reminded of 1 John 4 about the love the followers of Jesus must have for one another. I am also reminded of the important teaching of love through Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:1-10.

Indeed, no one has the perfect ten in knowing how divine healing works. Apostle Paul himself admitted this fact: “8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” (1Corinthians 13:8-10)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~originally posted on 6/6/15:
A common thought that dominates the human mind is the fear of being sick, ranging from the fear of inconveniences and discomfort to life threatening suffering and losses in many aspects of lives.
Mankind has developed many ways of coping and treating illness. Expensive and sophisticated equipments had been manufactured for the healthcare industry. However, many people continue to fear the uncertainty of diseases and the death caused by painful diseases. Churches have increasingly prayed for the healing of diseases. The Bible recorded divine healing by Jesus, Paul, Peter and others, including prophets like Elijah and Elisha. Some Christians believe that God heals people through the power of the Holy Spirit, often involving the laying of hands. Famous earlier Christians of faith in the 20th Century like John G. Lake, Smith Wigglesworth, William Branham, Oral Roberts, Kathryn Kuhlman, Kenneth Hagin and many others practiced divine healing by faith through the power of the Holy Spirit, on the basis of the words of God.
This blogger has witnessed dramatically healed testimonies as well as incidents of failures to get healed. Why did some receive total divine wellness and live a long and fulfilled life while others seemed to have failed to appropriate the divine healing promised in the Bible? There seems no answer to this blogger’s question.
The spiritual God’s way is not for a mortal physical man to fully comprehend in the mind. Divine healing is spiritual. There is no physical medicine to be taken at regular intervals. There is no physical equipment to be used to cut and remove unwanted physical lumps. The only guide to each Christian is the words of God, the Bible. Can everyone be a faith healer? Again I have no answer. I can only read the words of God and believe as I am led by the Holy Spirit, after personally knowing God, that He is real and He has announced Himself as the Lord who heals. In my previous healed testimony I have already testified how I have believed in God’s words by faith and how God has healed me. I admit that I did try to rationalize things with my mind. But I have soon realized how limited my human mind is. When I decided to choose the spiritual way to understand God, I started to experience breakthrough in divine healing.
Jesus has spoken clearly that God is Spirit and He looks for those who worship (including relate to) Him in spirit and in truth. I take the word ‘truth’ means the words of God. The Holy Spirit and the words of God work hand in hand. Jesus Himself is the way, the truth and the life. The Holy Spirit gives life to our mortal body. I believe fully in the following key verses on what it means to be born again. It does make a crucial difference in my receiving divine healing.
John 3:3,5 King James Version (KJV)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
1 Peter 1:22a-23 King James Version (KJV)
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit …
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
What does Jesus say about sin?
One hindrance to having our mind healed is an evil conscience.  The enemy uses this common strategy to attack the mind. To overcome him we need to renew our mind.
God’s words renew our mind.
John chapter 8 deals with this subject of sin in several aspects.
~~~
Adultery issue:
3-11 When Jesus was teaching a crowd at the temple, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery and questioned Jesus what to do.
“The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?” They kept demanding an answer.
They were trying to trap him saying something they could use against him.
Here are the three  sentences Jesus spoke: To the accusers, He said,
“All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”
(They all left.)
To the woman He said, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”
“Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”
This episode tells us the following truth:
1. Everyone has sinned and we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.(Romans 3:23)
2. God condemns all sins. No favoritism. No exception. (Romans 6:23)
3. Jesus is the only one to whom God has given the authority to judge and condemn or acquit.
4. God sent Jesus to come as a human not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him. (John 3:17)
~~~
God has dealt with the sin issue through Jesus:
Romans 3:22-24
22 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
Romans 6:22-23
22 But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
~~~
Back to what Jesus said in John 8. Jesus warns the unbelievers:
1. Jesus does not judge by human standards (no double standards). He follows God’s standards. (8:15-16)
2. People will die in their sins unless they believe that Jesus is who He claims to be. (8:23-24),(John3:18)
~~~~
Jesus speaks to the believers about freedom from sin.
8:31-32 Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
8:34-36
34 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. 35 A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.
~~~Finally, we have in us the power of the Holy Spirit which has freed us.
Romans 8:2 And because you belong to Him, the power of the life giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
Romans 8:6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.

Understanding Brings Deliverance – Pastor Sandra Kennedy (January 20, 13 )

                    brokenheartAnd the inhabitant will not say, “I am sick”;
The people who dwell in it will be forgiven their iniquity. (Isaiah 33:24)

who I really am: a positive proclamation

1Peter1_3

This proclamation is based on Bible verses from 1 Peter 1 (in part) (NLT )

I am chosen people living as foreigners in ……….God the Father knew me and chose me long ago, and his Spirit has made me holy. As a result, I have obeyed Him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

May God give me more and more grace and peace.

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by His great mercy that I have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now I live with great expectation, 4 and I have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for me, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. 5 And through my faith, God is protecting me by His power until I receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

So I am truly glad.[b] There is wonderful joy ahead, even though I have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that my faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though my faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when my faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring me much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

I love Him even though I have never seen Him. Though I do not see Him now, I trust Him; and I rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting Him will be the salvation of my soul.

10 This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for me. 11 They wondered what time or situation the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when He told them in advance about Christ’s suffering and His great glory afterward.

12 They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for me. And now this Good News has been announced to me by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.

13 So I think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to me when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. 14 So I must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into my old ways of living to satisfy my own desires. I didn’t know any better then. 15 But now I must be holy in everything I do, just as God who chose me is holy. 16 For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”[c]

17 And remember that the heavenly Father to whom I pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward me according to what I do. So I must live in reverent fear of Him during my time as “foreigners in the land.” 18 For I know that God paid a ransom to save me from the empty life I inherited from my ancestors. And the ransom He paid was not mere gold or silver. 19 It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 20 God chose Him as my ransom long before the world began, but He has now revealed Him to me in these last days.

21 Through Christ I have come to trust in God. And I have placed my faith and hope in God because He raised Christ from the dead and gave Him great glory.

22 I was cleansed from my sins when I obeyed the truth, so now I must show sincere love to others as brothers and sisters.[d] Love others deeply with all my heart.[e]

23 For I have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. my new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. 24 As the Scriptures say,

“People are like grass;     their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. 25     But the word of the Lord remains forever.”[f]

And that word is the Good News that was preached to me.

  1. 1:1 Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia were Roman provinces in what is now Turkey.
  2. 1:6 Or So you are truly glad.
  3. 1:16 Lev 11:44-45; 19:2; 20:7.
  4. 1:22a Greek must have brotherly love.
  5. 1:22b Some manuscripts read with a pure heart.
  6. 1:24-25 Isa 40:6-8.

A gift to you: the key to healing the sick and suffering

This is again the message on this eleventh hour, the issue of Jesus’ redemption, once and for all, for healing of our bodies, deliverance from oppressions and mind and emotional sufferings, and saving of our souls. The first key “No Condemnation” is of utmost importance. The reason why many healing rooms fail is because the ‘sick’ are made to feel condemned and had lapsed into using works and efforts to substitute the mighty work of the Holy Spirit. The healing gift of God is free as His Son had paid for all, by His own life. He shed His precious blood and had His body broken and pierced for us. There is nothing we can do to add even one bit more of the  chances of healing. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. Grace means freely given undeserved favor from God. God has declared: there is none righteous before Him. Don’t be deceived to think that you need to deserve before you can be healed. The truth is, Jesus had healed you by His stripes (wounds) two thousand years ago! Receive now, by faith!

Romans 8

New King James Version (NKJV)

1. No condemnation – For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

2. Know we have Sonship Through the Spirit – the Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

3. Expect suffering as heirs with Christ, and know that Glory far exceeds suffering. The Spirit of God helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us. God has called us according to His purpose and He causes all things to work for our good, for we love God.

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

4. God’s Everlasting Love for us cannot be overridden. God is for us. Christ had died for us. Christ loves us. he makes intercession for us. Through His love, we are more than conquerors!

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus heals and saves!

Dear Romeo:

Thank you for asking me to read your story. I prayed and asked the Lord Jesus how I may help. I am led in my spirit to recommend these following life testimonies and related practical healing information. Please read, watch the video testimonies, and also read and listen to the many audio teachings. They are very relevant and helpful. The healing testimonies are life examples of how people can overcome and be healed of a variety of sicknesses some of which they have suffered for a long period of time! I personally have benefited and been healed of a number of chronic diseases and medical conditions. Remember, God wants you well! Sincerely, Watchman.
Here are the links to the healing testimonies:

1. Today nearly one in every 50 Americans is afflicted with a condition known as Fibromyalgia, and Lance Weldgen was one of them. For years Lance juggled seventeen different prescription medications in order to manage the chronic pain and fatigue that consumed his body. More Info

The above is a reply I posted to a viewer who commented in my previous blog post.

When I studied through the many ills of this world lately my spirit felt the urgency and intensity of the need for a supernatural solution that supersedes all so called “solutions” (from our human mind) which have all, without exceptions, failed the human race so far in history. Just look around in all nations of this world and we will honestly admit human limitations.

My conclusion is: the natural realm has definite limitations that can only be broken by the supernatural realm. My own journey in the Holy Spirit has brought me to the spiritual realm, that is, the supernatural realm, which I have found to be just as real, if not more real than the physical natural realm. I can confidently claim this because I have lived in the physical realm for the bulk of my years and made a success (and failure too) in a variety of fields out of my own efforts. Thus I know the definite limitations. I have also encountered the reality of the supernatural realm, especially in the spiritual reality of God (the trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). The key difference between man’s effort and God’s provision is in the word “certainty”. Human can never be certain of his own or other human effort. But with God, all things are possible and certain when they align with His Word.

Practical application in the knowledge of the reality of God: I have encountered this unlimited reality in the healing of diseases. Similar encounters had been experienced by many and duly testified and recorded in the history of mankind.

How did I receive my own healing: by reading, listening, watching others’ testimonies; by reading God’s words and believing; by relentless practicing His words.

Essential keys for all who want to receive divine healing: faith in God, knowledge of His Word, be led by the Holy Spirit, believe and obey.

How to listen to the Holy Spirit? you need Jesus. You need to be born again just as Jesus has commanded.

The Woman Question: Why woman?

family praying togetherToday’s message: family health (marriage relationship); church ministry health (man and woman relationship).

In a previous article, we ask why Christian wives do not obey Christian husbands; we must now look deeper into the words of God, the only plumb line Christians follow. I was led to read this book yesterday when I pondered on why the aforementioned post has been so popular lately. I am urged to remind that we all need to read God’s words as led by the Holy Spirit, just as Jesus has commanded. Only God (the Holy Spirit) can tell us what God has meant in His words. (1 Corinthians 2:11-15) Indeed as the Lord declared through the apostle Paul, “no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.”

Please read the following book from a man of God led by the Holy Spirit through out his ministry. I personally have learned to walk by the Spirit through his many writings. One thing I respect of this writer and teacher is that he practiced what he preached. His wife respected him because she knew and respected him for this reason.

___________quoted:

Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin deals explicitly with perplexing issues, showing what the Scriptures say. The Woman Question Must women keep silent in the church? Is the man the head of the woman? Must women always obey their husbands? Must women cover their heads in church? What about appropriate dress? In this book, Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin deals explicitly with these and other perplexing issues, showing what the Scriptures say.

Women of today hold prominent positions as senators and even governors, as doctors and lawyers, and are very visible as directors and chairpersons of national organizations. This change has prompted a need for the teaching of sound biblical principles on the subject of women in the Body of Christ. What is the woman’s place in the home? What is her place in the church? What is her place in the marriage relationship?In his series “The Woman Question,” Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin offers godly truths on women’s attire, whether or not women should always obey their husbands, and whether or not women should keep silent in the local church.Equipped with godly convictions and spiritual understanding, any woman can grow into a mighty vessel of God! ”

Staying Full Of God
By Andrew Wommack

Do you ever feel like you and God have drifted apart and that the love and joy you once experienced with Him has faded? If you do, you’re not alone. Most Christians feel like the experiences they have with God diminish over time and that they need another touch. But that is not what the Bible teaches.

The Bible says God will never leave us nor forsake us (Heb. 13:5). If that is true—and it is—who moved? As born-again believers, we are all capable of living in the fullness of God every day of our lives. God is continually pouring out His love, joy, peace, revelation knowledge, and every other blessing. But we can get to a point where we’re not receiving and “feel” like He has drifted away.

Romans 1:21 says,

“When they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”

This scripture contains four separate elements, or keys, that can lead us into and keep us operating in the fullness of God. Expressed positively, they are glorify God, be thankful, recognize the power of imagination, and have a good heart. We have the power to control each of these in our lives.

Glorify God

In many places throughout the Bible, the word magnify is the same word translated glorify. Therefore, magnify and glorify can be used interchangeably. And magnify means “to make bigger.”

Did you know that you can make God bigger? Technically speaking, God is who He is, regardless of what you think, but in terms of your perception, He can be big or small. You have the power to make Him one or the other in your life.

Most of us have become masters at enlarging the problem and minimizing God and His Word. I remember a lady who thought she was pregnant but found out she had cancer instead. The doctors said she needed a hysterectomy immediately. They said she only had a 50 percent chance of living, and she wouldn’t live more than two weeks without surgery.

She came to me, crying, “Andrew, have you heard what they said?” Now, I don’t always respond this way, but I believe God led me to say what I did. I started laughing and declared, “Cancer’s no problem with God. The lights in heaven won’t dim from the power drain if the Lord heals you! It’s not any harder to be healed of cancer than it is to be healed of a cold.”

I started magnifying and glorifying God. I made the Lord bigger and the cancer smaller. The only thing that made the cancer insurmountable was the value she was placing on what the doctors said. They even called her a fool for refusing treatment and made her sign paperwork to absolve them of liability “when” she died. But she decided to stand her ground and believe God. It’s now been almost twenty years since she refused that operation—and she has a whole slew of children.

What do you value? What’s big to you? You can magnify the Lord and make Him and His Word bigger than any problem. Do it by glorifying, praising, and thanking Him. Find someone in the Word who overcame a situation similar to yours. Meditate on the Word, and make it more real to you than the problem. You need to get to a place where God’s Word is true and where He is greater than any situation.

“All things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).

Thankfulness

Paul listed un-thankfulness as one of the signs of the end times and put it in the same verse as covetousness, pride, blasphemy, and unholiness (2 Tim. 3:1-2). Not many would argue that we live in a society full of unthankful people, even in spite of the fact that we have more prosperity and opportunity than any people who have ever lived.

The second key to staying full of God is a thankful heart. Glorifying, magnifying, and thanking Him are all interrelated, but to glorify God, you must be thankful. As you are thanking Him, you’re reminding yourself of what He has said and done, which magnifies Him.

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits”(Ps. 103:2).

Being thankful involves both humility and memory. Humility is the understanding that you didn’t accomplish these things on your own. Then, humbly remembering the good things He has done for you always brings thankfulness. So, it’s important to look back and rehearse your victories and remember whose power brought them to pass.

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations” (Ps. 100:4-5).

Every time you are tempted to gripe and complain about a problem, don’t. Instead, enter into God’s presence and spend ten minutes thanking Him for His goodness. If you will, you’ll find that the natural desire to complain will cease, and the problem will shrink as you begin to see it in the proper perspective.

Imagination

Imagination is much more important than most people realize. The Hebrew word that was translated “imagination” in the Old Testament literally means “conception.” Imagination is how new ideas are conceived. Without it, people become spiritually and creatively sterile.

A few years ago, I took a trip to Israel. I remember stopping in the valley of Elah. I got out of the bus and walked down to that little stream. I picked up five smooth stones just the way David once did. I began to imagine what it must have been like for David when he faced Goliath. The story came alive.

The Word of God comes alive when you can picture what it’s talking about. Let the Word of God control your imagination as you think about scriptures, and you will see things in Scripture that you can’t see with your physical eyes. You see it on the inside…in your imagination.

When the Bible says you’re healed, you’ve got to meditate on that truth until you see yourself healed. Most people allow their imaginations to become vain, and they agree with the image the doctors have painted rather than with the Word of God. They’re told what is going to happen, and they imagine it as truth.

When we fail to be thankful and glorify God, our imaginations automatically become vain. That doesn’t mean they aren’t working; it just means they begin to work against us. Those of us with vain imaginations are pessimists, imagining failure instead of success. We need to use our imaginations to agree with God’s Word and see ourselves the way God sees us: happy, healthy, and prosperous.

A Good Heart

The Scripture makes it very clear that the attitude of your heart is far more important than your actions.

Jesus said it this way in Matthew 23:25-26,

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.”

The Lord is more concerned about your heart than He is your actions.

Matthew 12:35, Mark 7:21-23, and Proverbs 23:7 make it even clearer:

“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things” (Matt. 12:35).

“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man” (Mark 7:21-23).

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Prov. 23:7).

Our hearts control what we say, and they also control what we do. All of the above are products of our hearts. The opposite of those can be true also. Love, joy, peace, patience, and the rest of the fruit of the Spirit are also products of what our hearts believe. The reason the heart responds in a negative way is because we allow it to be dominated by external, or physical, things instead of by the Word of God.

Our understanding is then darkened, and we become insensitive to God. We actually cause our hearts to become hardened. The word harden, according to the dictionary, means cold, insensitive, unfeeling, and unyielding. When our hearts become hardened or insensitive to God, they automatically become sensitive, dominated by, and controlled by our physical senses.

So, what do most people do when they realize their actions are being controlled by their hearts and are causing problems for themselves and others? They resort to behavior modification. They try to change their actions without changing their hearts, and that never works long-term. If people want their behavior to change, they must change their hearts. They must make sure that the Word of God is the dominant influence.

If you will put these four keys into practice in your life, you will never be the same. It will change the way you think about everyone and everything around you. It will give you a God perspective.

Overcoming temptation like Jesus did

heart vs headI am led to recommend the following message and its audio teachings to you. I believe this is relevant for today’s Christians especially those who are ministering unto God at the altar or ministering others. When you know that your action has a spiritual consequence you will be very concerned and not want to repeat what the Bible clearly says no. But many know why they should not do and yet they do. Why? What to do if you do not want to be thus ensnared? I pray that the Holy Spirit will lead you to your answers. Apostle Peter stated that we are “royal priesthood, holy nation and God’s special people”. I pray that every Christian lives up to this prestigious calling!

Dealing With Temptation (excerpts)
By Andrew Wommack

Everyone faces temptation. But the truth is, very few people deal with it effectively. That shouldn’t be the case, and it doesn’t have to be the case for believers. There are some very simple and effective ways of dealing with temptation that you should know, and if you’ll put them into practice, I guarantee, you’ll come out the winner…

So, first and most important, you must be prepared…

Second Chronicles 12:14 says it this way,

And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.”

This was speaking of Rehoboam, the king of Judah and the son of Solomon. He started off as a good king who was seeking the Lord. But just like many people today, he wasn’t prepared for what would inevitably come his way…

Jesus prepared Himself. He spent thirty years getting ready for His encounter with the devil, and He started preparing early. At the age of twelve, He was asking questions of the doctors of the Law and astounding them with His answers…

Before He was tempted by Satan face to face, He was anointed with the Holy Spirit at His baptism by John in the Jordan River. Jesus went into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, full of the power of the Holy Spirit.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is an absolute necessity for overcoming temptation. There are many Christians who received the Holy Spirit years ago and haven’t been full of the Holy Spirit a day since..Jude 1:20-21 says,

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”

Praying in tongues builds us up on our most holy faith. How many times have you needed your most holy faith to take you through a certain trial, and yet you haven’t used this gift of the Holy Spirit? Verse 21 also says we keep ourselves in the love of God when we speak in tongues…This is a powerful gift. Isaiah 28:11-12 says,

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.”

Do you ever need rest or refreshing? I guarantee that you do, and this verse says speaking in tongues is the way to get it…

You must also know who you are. Matthew 4 and Luke 4 record the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness…The real temptation was Satan’s attempt to get Jesus to doubt who He was… Knowing your true identity in Christ is one of the greatest defenses you can possibly have against temptation.

Jesus had just heard His Father speak to Him in an audible voice saying,

This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matt. 3:17).

There was also a visible sign from God when the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus in the shape of a dove. Jesus had to anchor His faith in who His Father said He was. But immediately, Satan came to Him saying,

If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread” (Matt. 4:3).

The real temptation was never about turning stones into bread. It was Satan’s attempt to manipulate Jesus into doubting His Father’s Word and doing something to prove who He was. Satan was trying to find and exploit any insecurity in Jesus.

When you were a kid, I’m sure someone at some time dared you to do something stupid. The real issue wasn’t whether or not you could do it but whether you were “afraid” to do it…

Satan was daring Jesus—”If You’re really the Son of God…You must know who you are if you want to overcome temptation. No matter what form Satan’s temptations may take, they are all directed at causing us to doubt who we are.

It’s also important to understand that all temptation is rooted in selfishness. In fact, our selfishness is really Satan’s beachhead. Jesus stripped him of his power two thousand years ago, so the only thing he can really do is deceive us through our own selfish desires. The Bible tells us exactly what they are in 1 John 2:16,

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

And in James 1:14 we read,

But every many is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.”

Satan is not limitless; deception is his only weapon…Selfishness is always the favorite playground of the devil, and when selfishness rules in our lives, we open the door to his deceptive schemes.

You can’t be tempted unless you have first thought about it…

Philippians 4:8 says this,

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Temptation will come, but it’s hard for the devil to deceive you when your mind is stayed on those things. Satan can only work with what you give him…

The Word is powerful—use it. Jesus countered every temptation of the devil with the Word…That goes back to being prepared; you can’t quote scripture you haven’t learned, and there isn’t any power in what you don’t know or understand.

Don’t wait till you’re in the middle of a huge temptation to start thinking about how to deal with it; it will be too late. Take the time now to prepare yourself…In this album, I teach on: being prepared, knowing who you are, how selfishness is the beachhead of Satan, why speaking the Word is so important, and how temptation is tied to your thought life. These are all vital to understanding and overcoming temptation.

How to deal with your broken heart (step 5): believe that you can be healed! (updated on June 7 2018)

Here are more excerpts quoted from the above healing book for the emotionally hurting. I am led in my spirit to quote step 5 (excerpts only) this round. I pray you too will find the gems here encourage you to get hold of the whole book and read many times. Believe that you can be healed!

Blogger’s Update on June 7 2018: When I quoted this book five years ago I did not know about divine healing and the truth that a believer can claim the healing that Jesus had accomplished on the cross. He took away all diseases when He received the stripes on His back. It means the diseases whether mental or physical have no right to stay on your body. Jesus asked us to speak direct to the mountain and cast it away. You can declare the following verses and use the name of Jesus and command the symptoms and the causes thereof to leave you!

Isaiah 53:5But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.”
Matthew 8:16-17
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
“He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.”
1 Peter 2:24
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
___________Excerpts quoted from the book:
We find it easier and more natural to believe in the dark side of things and in the negative side of life than in the bright and positive side of things.
I know that when I can get people to believe in the positive, more than half the battle is won.
THOSE WHO ARE HURTING MUST BELIEVE THAT THEY CAN COME OUT OF IT AND THAT THEY CAN RISE ABOVE THOSE HURTS. If you think otherwise, you are fighting a losing battle and you will not find emotional wholeness.
The story of the epileptic boy in Matthew 17 is a very touching one. The Lord Jesus Christ raised a challenging and heart-searching question (in reply to the father who sought healing for his son from Jesus) in His reply, saying, “If thou can believe!” Immediately the man dropped on his knees and cried out, “I believe! Help Thou my unbelief!”
What the man was saying in actual fact, I believe, was this, “O Lord, I do believe but my human believing is so week, it seems to still contain an element of unbelief, Therefor my believing and my faith need Your divine support.”
This, then, is the condition of all our hearts. Doubts even in the midst of our faith!
It was during my years of church planting and pioneering that I personally came to understand the meaning of this verse and the condition of my own heart…I was like a fountain that was spurting out both hot and cold water at the same time. I had faith to sever from the “established past”, so to speak, and yet has no faith to move wholeheartedly into the future.
Ask God to help you believe…
We must take the Word of the Lord literally…
If you find yourself in this (belief-unbelief) situation while seeking for emotional healing, just say, “Lord, I will not be discouraged and I thank You for healing me. Help me to go through this period of feeling so ‘unhealed’.”
It is the fact that we must confess and think about, not the feelings. The fact is that God has promised to heal us and we have been healed by His (Jesus’) stripes. We must then apply this healing to ourselves.
I remember helping another sister through a very difficult time. She had woken me up at about three in the morning. with tear-filled eyes, she told me that she could not sleep after reading from the newspaper that evening that her former boyfriend was going to marry another woman, an air hostess. This was so strange because they had split up about four years ago and she had, through all these years, continued to live a vibrant and active life.
“But when I read that announcement…all those hurt feelings came back…My mind keeps remembering those old times…”
This is true. When our minds bring back the memories, they also bring back the feelings, whether good or bad.
In my own experience…I immediately reach out to God and pray, “I claim the blood of Jesus Christ over all of these hurting memories and I rebuke these mental and emotional oppressions in the name of Jesus.” God in His mercy and love has not failed failed me once.
Very often, Satan…will draw my attention to familiar sights and similar looking people and remind me, “Doesn’t this man look like him? Look, he is smiling at you in the same way that ______ used to smile at you!” “This is the same type of perfume and chocolate he used to buy you” or “This was the coffee house you both came to so many years ago.”
And I have, unashamedly, run and turned to Him (God) at all odd times and in odd places. In toilets, in the supermarkets, in the kitchen while stirring a cup of coffee, in an airplane, in the hair saloon with my head under a blower, under the shower, in the midst of a facial etc. Anytime, anywhere, whenever the hurtful memories strike, I just reach out to Him, Who alone is my healing balm…
(Back to the story about the hurting woman)..I told her that the Lord has definitely healed her of that past hurt and that those lousy feelings would not stay if she was determined not to let them stay.
“Rebuke them and do not let Satan bring back the past memories and ugly hurt feelings to rob you of the reality of God’s healing. You don’t have to let these mental and emotional oppressions stay.”
I told her to begin to concentrate on the facts – this man was not in God’s plan for her life -to be able to accept this helps in the healing of hurts. Also, four years ago, she had already with God that she would release him ans God had already healed her of that emotional hurt and trauma.
Praise God, my friend cooperated and she allowed the facts, not her feelings, to take hold of her that night. The next morning she was as good as new.
The apostel Paul told the church of Philippi that they must by God’s power, discipline their minds to think of the things that positive. This means our minds can actually be trained to dwell on things we want them to.
Yes, God is more than able to heal your broken-heartedness…Believe because this is the truth: Jesus Christ is more than able to heal you and help you rise above those hurts in life.  (Blogger’s comment: Jesus had already healed you. You just need to believe and declare you are healed and command the “mountain” to leave you and cast into the sea!)
How to deal with your broken heart 3: the humor amidst the tears
How to deal with your broken heart 3: the humor amidst the tears (by Susan Tang)
I came across this author (pastor, church planter, prophet, Bible teacher, watchman/intercessor) and her teaching about five years ago. I attended a number of her seminars (all with not a dull moment). I bought all her books and read most of them, as the Spirit led me. She teaches with passion for the word of God. Her passion is infectious. But I have noted some qualities in her for young disciples of Jesus to emulate: honesty, integrity, courage and boldness, authority and power, that come from a life of living before God.
In this book, she wrote from her personal experience with the objective to heal and set free those who are hurting. However, I have read with a smile from time to time. Susan is known for her genuine human character too, her great sense of humor! I have put together some excerpts (at random) here from the book reflecting this human aspect. I believe you will smile too when you picture those incidents which had been so vividly described!
_________________
As a pastor, I had to share many experiences of hurt and heart-brokenness. Out of all these experiences, there were two that wounded me very deeply. Both of these incidents happened when I was still very young as a person and very inexperienced as a pastor. I did not really know how to handle hurts, whether on my own or others. I went to an excellent Bible School but unfortunately, I was not taught how to handle hurts. I do not believe this can be taught in the classroom….
The second experience of a broken heart concerned my housemate (Joelin)…She came to my bedroom one night, dropped herself, all 138 pounds, onto my lap and then started to sob and cry hysterically.
I held her (thinking her appendix had ruptured as she ha complained of suspected appendicitis sometimes back) and didn’t really know what to do until her younger sister, Bina, came in and told me point-blank, “That bastard Roger left her for another girl!” “Oh?” I replied. Tears started to trickle down my cheeks all the way to Joelin’s back. I couldn’t free myself to get any tissue; she had nailed me down with her 138 pounds. Bina also started crying, holding and pulling art my right leg. I did not mind the holding but I hated the pulling and rubbing her wet nose against it. Before I could tell her to stop, the youngest of the sisters, Linda, came in, held onto my other leg and did exactly the same thing!
Now after almost 12 years (31 years ago from present day), as I write about it, it seems so hilarious – four women crying themselves crazy just because one had a lousy boyfriend who got away! Sometimes women were so cooperative! At the time it happened, it was not funny. I hurt like mad for Joelin, so much so that I did not even go to work for the next two days. I was afraid she would commit suicide…
Three years later when I met Bina, who had by then already married, she told me the sad news, “Joelin is terrible. She has hurt my mom so badly…she is like the town’s prostitute.”..
Poor Joelin. One bad man called Roger hurt her and she was left wounded for life. But is it really true that life comes to an end for a person when his or her romance or marriage fails?…HOW DOES ONE COME OUT OF IT?
As Christians, we also need to truthfully ask ourselves this question: Has God left us any resources in our quest for emotional healing and wholeness? The glad answer is YES! An absolute YES! The Lord Jesus Christ is more than able to heal the broken-hearted. But we must cooperate with Him. There is definitely something we can do for ourselves in our quest for emotional healing…
STEP 1: STOP BELIEVING THE DEVIL’S LIES.
Lie 1 – “If Michael walks out on me, I’ll commit suicide for I have no reason to go on living.”
Or “If Jean leaves, I’ll die for I really cannot do without her.”
This is a lie…we are not to make another human person the sole reason for our existence..This then is the truth: GOD ALONE IS TO BE THE ULTIMATE REFERENCE POINT IN OUR LIVES, THE SOLE REASON FOR OUR EXISTENCE.
Certainly, the sense of loss, of lack and worthlessness will be there. But these feelings need not stay for good…Satan will fight to keep you in bondage to these feelings…but Satan is a liar who has no choice but to let go if you resist him steadfastly.
Lie 2 – “I don’t think I can ever love again.”
To confess such a thing is in reality to say something like this: “The past is too powerful to be forgotten and I cannot be cleansed from its influence.” Or “God is so limited. He has only given me just one person in this great big universe with whom I can be happy…”
I had a friend who was like this…she had one broken relationship and it robbed her almost totally of all joys and the meaning of living. (She stayed away from almost every place where men could be found and where she could be reminded of …the man who left her. Places included: camps, bookstores and supermarkets that sell wedding or engagement cards, even babies!). (to be continued)
how to deal with your broken heart
how to deal with your broken heart
How to deal with your broken heart and rise above your hurt? (Preface)
how to deal with your broken heart 2
PREFACE: WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK (excerpts/summary from book by Pastor Susan Tang))
Actually I wrote this book for a number of reasons. The number one reason is that I am weary. I am weary from being confronted by so many broken-hearted people and weary with having to repeat the same counsel time and time again. “Hurts are sometimes almost tangible and definitely contagious.”
A few years ago after I started a women’s ministry in my church, I was suddenly plunged into a world of hurting women. Some were hurting and helpless, some were hurting and revengeful, some were hurting and demonic, some were hurting and confused, and some were hurting and had become both impenetrable and weird!
How is it that the world is so full of hurting women? And hurting men? Although we had advertised in the local papers that the HELPLINE was only for women, men called up, and one shouted at me when I told him that the HELPLINE was for women only.
What the ***! Don’t you know we men hurt too? …How come you help women and not men?” I had no answer, so I had to replace the receiver and unhook the phone for a while…
Since the women ministry started here in…years ago, I have been writing articles and giving talks on this subject on how to rise above our hurts and heart-brokenness. Letters have come and women have asked for more… I enjoyed doing this at first but after …years, I decided that I should stop. Then somebody said, “You have stopped teaching, but people have not stopped hurting.”
This is so true. So why not bring all the articles together and rewrite them? This is how this book came about and this is why I wrote this book.
When God brings us through experiences like hurts, He definitely has a purpose. He wants us to grow up spiritually…I am also grateful to people, for it is from people, hurting people, that I have learned the most.
The one lesson that looms above the rest is this: There is to be only one great, lifelong, consuming love affair for a child of God and it is to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. God Himself wants to be our first love object.”
Each time a hurting person comes to me for counseling and prayer, the Holy Spirit will urge me to tell her, “Listen, just open your heart to Jesus and love Him and have Him love you back.” Or I would say, “No, right now your need is not to be reconciled with Michael or jean or whoever. Your need right now is to love Jesus with all of your heart and have Him love you in return.”
And over and over again, I have seen the miracle happen:
THAT WHEN PEOPLE DARE TO MAKE GOD THEIR FIRST LOVE, SITUATIONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE FOR THEM OR THEY THEMSELVES CHANGE AND THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER!
Praise God!
Yes, God does want to be our first love. We see this in the first book of the Bible, Genesis, where God tested the heart of Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his only son !…One can see plainly that God was not after Abraham’s son, BUT HE WAS AFTER ABRAHAM’S HEART.
To all who are reading this book, my prayer for you is that you will find healing and emotional wholeness from the God Who Himself has drawn you to Him. I am praying for you. You will find healing for that broken heart as surely as Jesus rose from the grave. The grave had no power to bind Jesus Christ and just like the grave, hurts have no power to bind you or hold you because you are a child of God…
How to deal with your broken heart and rise above your hurt?
how to deal with your broken heart
how to deal with your broken heart
This book by Pastor Susan Tang is on my “must read End Times Books List”. It is not online so I quote some excerpts (mainly from Chapter/Step Seven, “Forgive !”) here and share with the readers of this blog. The author wrote this book mainly for women who hurt, but men hurt too, she was told. Please be encouraged to read the whole book. To all who are reading this book, the author’s prayer is that “you will find healing and emotional wholeness from the God Who Himself has drawn you to Him”.
You will find that, quoting from the book,
“In ourselves, we cannot bring down the wall of unforgiveness. The hurt is so deep and the bitterness defiles so many, but God can help us. God can energize us to do the impossible.”
Excerpts from the book: ____________________
A personal word (from the author, 2008): “When I wrote this book 14 years ago, I had no idea that God would take it so far to touch and heal so many lives…At least three suicides have been aborted and many readers have found relief and a new beginning through the pages of this book. Thank you Lord, for prompting me to writing it.”
“This touching testimony came from a British woman married to an Indian man. She had left everything, including breaking family ties to follow her husband back to this country. After two years of marriage, he left her for another woman and she sank into depression and attempted suicide twice. A friend in England sent her this book! She told me she read it twice and started to heal. She came out of depression and is now serving in a counseling center for battered wives…
“Another testimony came from a woman who had a fifteen-year relationship with a man. When he returned to his wife, she was ready to jump from the balcony of her sixth floor apartment. Someone gave her this book and she read it many, many times. God brought her healing through the pages and today she is moving on -she has a good job and new friends…and I am one of them.”
“These are just two of the women I have met face to face; there are many more out there…
“Pain and sorrow is a powerful language -It has a way of speaking to us, of penetrating below our surface to change us, mould us, shape us…to make better (or worse) people out of us. Yes, may all of us who have had a broken heart experience come out of it and be a better person. May we also in times of pain, learn to identify with God for God is a God who knows pain and sorrow…”
Chapter/Step Seven: FORGIVE !
We need and need and need, many times over, God’s divine energy and supernatural power to help us forgive. What is life without forgiveness?
A. Forgiving God
Each time a Christian is hurt, I believe there are actually two parties that she needs to forgive (sometimes maybe even three, including the self). We need to forgive the person who has hurt us and we need to forgive God for allowing us that hurt.
When we ask, “Why, Lord?” we are actually asking God why He did not stop or prevent it. Therefor if NEED BE, we also need to forgive God if we think God has wronged us or that He is to be blamed for all our troubles.
I have to convince many people that God is not behind their troubles. God is not against them but they refused to believe it. Perhaps you are one of the foolish ones. If we were to take it then that God really is the one causing you all these mishaps, can you forgive Him? We are concerned about your healing, we are not concerned about God’s ego or hurting God. God is more concerned for your healing and your being wholesome.
If Jesus could take all those beatings, shame and humiliation on the cross to bring you wholesomeness and healing, what is this little chip of misunderstanding and blame to Him?…
So many people say, in the midst of their hurts, that they cannot reach out for God…unless you forgive, you cannot have communication. So, if you think you need it, for your own good and healing, say, “God, I forgive You.”
B. Forgiving the person or persons who inflicted the hurt
Yes, forgiving the person who has hurt us is not easy, not even natural. It draws up blood and guts and everything else from within us.
Take for example, the case of Linda, a 22 year old girl I met not long ago. Married for just eight months, her husband deserted her for her best friend. Her best friend had seen him…at a party and commented to another friend, “I won’t give up until I have him.” It took her just five months…and Linda’s husband fell into her arms…
Linda, hurt to her very core, attempted suicide twice but did not die. Both times she was hospitalized…
When Linda came to see me, something within me wanted to withdraw from her. Her hurt and pain were almost tangible and definitely contagious. And yes, Linda couldn’t forgive. I told her she had to choose between forgiveness and hell. She surprised me by replying that she preferred to go to hell (“I am already in it now.’) since going to hell required no effort but forgiving did.
Emotionally, Linda was devastated. Satan had taken advantage of the situation to turn her hurt into something really ugly and demonic, making her negative, impenetrable and defiant, even to those who sincerely wanted to help her.
Physically, she was just awful. (bloodshot eyes, foul breath, hair matted, lipstick caked on parched lips, jagged nails, perfume soured on her dress…)
That 40 minutes or so of ministry was very, very difficult…and because of her self imposed isolation was so deep. I felt I could not reach her to bring hope to her battered, broken spirit -but God, what a God! Praise to Him Who specializes in impossibilities!
God was with us that afternoon although I had a hard time feeling His presence…when I weakly asked Linda (not expecting a positive reply, actually) if she wanted prayer, she nodded.
Before we could finish praying, Linda fell onto the floor, hard as the Lord’s Spirit came over her and she cried inaudibly, with just a few tiny drops of tears trickling down the corners of her eyes. She got up a few minutes later, obviously embarrassed and shocked to find herself sprawled on the cement floor. She just bolted out of the door and disappeared! I lost contact with her after that.
Four months later, one evening when I was having dinner at a Chinese restaurant, I saw somebody sitting across from my table who looked so much like her. “No, it couldn’t be,” I thought to myself. “This one is fatter. She’s laughing and she looks well. No, it can’t be her.”
But I was wrong and it was Linda. I walked over to say “Hi” and did not ask further…she squeezed my hand as I was about to leave and said, “Everything’s okay now. I forgave that ***bastard and I decided I should let him go. Better now than when I have children…God really did touch me that day and helped me to forgive that ***bastard and also that ***girlfriend of his!”
Praise the Lord! She found victory! She found release! She found forgiveness and she found life! But, of course, she still needed to change her language!
We need and need and need, many times over, God’s divine energy and supernatural power to help us forgive. What is life without forgiveness?
If we go by feelings, there is no way we can move this mountain and make progress…i learned then that forgiveness is not just a feeling, but action!
AS LONG AS YOU WANT TO FORGIVE, DO NOT BE BOTHERED BY THE FEELINGS -ACT AGAINST THEM! These feelings, like the mighty walls of Jericho, will soon collapse as you obey the word of the Lord and act against them.
There is no need to feel condemned if you still have all these feelings of unforgiveness. The important thing is to make sure that there is a beginning to your wanting to forgive.
“In ourselves, we cannot bring down the wall of unforgiveness. The hurt is so deep and the bitterness defiles so many, but God can help us. God can energize us to do the impossible.”
Those who do not forgive may have such high prices to pay: ill health, cancer, ulcers, arthritis, premature death etc.
So, forgive with God’s help. Pick up the hammer today and start to bring that wall down. God will be right there to help you.
Notes on why Christian wives do not obey Christian husbands
wake up!
wake up!
Notes on why Christian wives do not obey Christian husbands.
This is a summary of some recent findings of the watchman. (See my other post on why this subject is being raised at the following link:  http://kzlam36.wordpress.com/2013/06/18/my-real-life-my-minds-agenda-is-not-me/)
In a recent altar call by a show of hands of wives who obeyed their husbands, not one hand was raised. In a subsequent call for hands to be raised of husbands who loved their wives, only one hand was raised. This altar call was made on a regular Sunday service.
Why does such a sad state of marital relation exist in a regular evangelical church? No one, not even the elder who preached a sermon based on Colossians 3:18 and made that altar call that morning could answer. Only he wives and their husbands knew their respective answers. But no one is telling no one.
However, prior to hearing this report, the watchman already received the answer given by the Lord through another sister’s (not from that church) mouth. When asked by an exasperated closed one why, unlike others, she did not heed his teaching on how to listen to the Holy Spirit and be led by the Spirit, she merely said that he had no credibility in teaching her as she knew he did not exactly follow the Holy Spirit when it came to certain issues. So how could she know when to listen and when not to listen to his teaching? She thus chose to stay away when he taught.
For example, she said, “Your prayers are powerful and full of faith, but your actions in dealing with life matters do not reflect your faith in your prayers.” He still manifested some fear and anxiety over certain matters in life.
Alas, so said all the wordless wives who refused to raise their hands, preferring to give the silent but overt statement that they could not obey their husbands because they could not respect them in their private lives. Their husbands had not honored the Biblical commitments to love them more than their own lives. Their husbands did not deny selves, take up each own cross, and follow Christ. Their husbands had not obeyed God’s word. Their husbands had not been crucified and died with Jesus on the cross and were walking by flesh and not by the Spirit. Their husbands were not man of faith and could not please God. Their husbands were after the world and the worldly things. Their husbands’ minds were not the mind of Christ. Their husbands were not sons of God because sons of God are led by the Spirit of God and they were led by their own flesh or worse by evil spirits.Their husbands’ prayers were not answered as they disobeyed the word of God. For example,
Jesus said “If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7 But their husbands had no desire to let God’s word abide in them.
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh,” Galatians 5:16 But their husbands were not even baptized in the Holy Spirit or aware of the reality of the transforming power of the Spirit of God.
Jesus was “declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.” Romans 1:4 The husbands of those Christians women wanted the power of the Holy Spirit but without holiness.
Ephesians 2:2-3 described the sons of disobedience, the nature children of wrath, dead in trespasses and sins we once were. ‘In which you once walked according to the course of this world…among whom also we once conducted ourselves…fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind…just as others.” It is quite easy for the wives to determine where their husbands are, by seeing whether they are still walking and conducting themselves according to the course of this world, fulfilling their own desires of the old selves.
In short, wives are disillusioned by the hypocrisy in their husbands. Jesus condemned hypocrisy. Wives do not submit to hypocrites. Jesus spoke very harsh words on such religious hypocrisy. He called them “the blind leading the blind,” “causing the little one to stumble”, or worse, not entering the kingdom of God and preventing others to enter!
Are the wives doing right in not obeying such hypocrites (who disobey God)? You answer.
Counter your mind deception by the Power Of Faith-Filled Words
The Power Of Faith-Filled Words
By Andrew Wommack
If we want to start seeing the power of God manifest in our lives, we will have to start paying attention to what we say. Words have power—more than any of us realize, but we often speak them as though they are meaningless. Because of that, most believers at one time or another have been hung by their tongue.
Matthew 12:36-37 says,
“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”
“Every idle word” simply means nonproductive. These are words that you speak but don’t believe. For example, you might say, “I’m dying to see my grandchildren.” You really don’t mean you’re dying, but you say it anyway to emphasize the importance of the relationship.
Every time you say things that you don’t really mean, it begins to numb your heart. Unconsciously, each idle word is making it just a little bit harder to believe what you say will actually come to pass when you mean it and it really counts.
Jesus certainly understood the power of words, and He used them to change the natural things around him.
Mark 11:13-14 and 20-24 say,
“And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it…. And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
I can almost hear the inflections in Peter’s voice when he said, “The fig tree You cursed is withered away.” I am sure it communicated surprise and disbelief. And when Jesus replied to Peter, it probably was not in a monotone voice. It was more like, “PETER! WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?” Jesus was amazed at his unbelief. He was saying, “It shouldn’t shock you to see this tree withered. Have faith in God.”
Then He went on to explain that this wasn’t limited to a fig tree. He used a mountain as an example, but I believe it could apply to anything. He was making the point that if we say it with our mouths and believe it in our hearts, we can have what we say.
He also made it very clear who qualified to use words in this way: He said, “whosoever shall say.” Are you a whosoever? Because if you are and if you’re breathing, then you’re qualified, and your words can affect the natural as well as the spiritual world.
Jesus used the word “say” or “saith” three times in verse 23. He was making it clear that words have power. But He also said to have faith in God. The words that have power are words that are filled with faith. And it’s important to understand that the faith they’re filled with is not your human faith.
Galatians 2:20 says,
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
I’m aware that the NIV says faith in the son of God.” But when you study this out, it becomes very clear that it is talking about the very faith of God that He placed in you when you were born again. In fact, you can’t even be born again by your own faith. Romans 10:17 say that faith comes by the Word, and 1 Peter 1:23 says you are born again by the Word of God.
If you can’t even believe for salvation with our human faith, how could we possible use it for other things like healing or prosperity? It’s super important that you understand this. If you don’t know this, you will always be looking to others to pray for you. You’ll always think that they have more faith than you do, and because of that, God will act on your behalf when they pray. That’s wrong, and it’s the reason many Christians are looking to man instead of God for their answers.
Romans 12:3 says,
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (underline mine).
Think of it like using a ladle to dish up soup. If you used the same ladle every time—and God did—every person will get the same amount of soup. It’s the measure of soup. You have the measure of faith. No born-again believer has more faith than any other; some just do a better job of appropriating what they have been given.
Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” And verse 3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
This scripture is not symbolic; God actually created everything with words. He spoke creation into existence, and the substance of His faith manifested into what we can now see. The Word of God has unlimited power. Each word is like a little capsule filled with faith waiting for us believers to release it in our hearts and speak it with our mouths.
Everything we see was created by words, and it is the very Word of God that holds the universe together (Heb. 1:3). Therefore, everything we see will respond to faith-filled words. They have to respond because words are the parent force.
Proverbs 23:7 says that as you think in your heart, so are you, and Luke 6:45 says that what you speak comes from the abundance of your heart. In other words, the way that you think controls the way that you talk. And if you understand that your words have power, then you understand why you can be hung by your tongue.
The only reason every one of us isn’t dead from the many idle words we have spoken is because we haven’t believed every word with our hearts. Thank God that our words have to be mixed with faith and that we have to believe them from our hearts. But this should help us see a powerful truth. If we believe we are going to be sick or if we believe that we will always be poor, and then confess that with our mouths, we will get what we believe.
On the other hand, what happens when we take the faith-filled words of God and plant them in our hearts where they can take root and grow? Everything changes—no longer are we just saying “I believe that I’m healed” or “I am prosperous,” but we believe it and the faith of God is then released through those words.
Proverbs 18:21 reads,
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
It not only says life but death as well. It’s sad to say, but most of the words being communicated today are negative words—words that do not bring about abundant life but cause more problems.
In most of what I teach, I talk about the words that we speak. But it has been thirty-plus years since I have taught on this as a standalone subject, and I am sure we no longer have tapes of those messages. So, last year on my trip to Europe, I taught a new series called The Power of Faith-Filled Words. It’s a powerful series that will completely change your attitude about the words you speak. More importantly, if you will get it in your heart, you will learn that words can change your life now as well as your future.
“Is any sick among you? I Am the Lord That Healeth Thee”
Bowland Street Mission
I Am the Lord That Healeth Thee
(SMITH WIGGLESWORTH SERMON)
“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him” (James 5 :14, 15) .
We have in this precious word a real basis for the truth of healing. In this scripture God gives very definite instructions to the sick. If you are sick, your part is to call for the elders of the church; it is their part to anoint and pray for you in faith, and then the whole situation rests with the Lord. When you have been anointed and prayed for, you can rest assured that the Lord will raise you up. It is the word of God.
I believe that we all can see that the church cannot play with this business. If any turn away from these clear instructions they are in a place of tremendous danger. Those who refuse to obey, do so to their unspeakable loss.
James tells us in connection with this, “if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him, let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his ways shall save a soul from death.” Many turn away from the Lord, as did King Asa, who sought the physicians in his sickness and consequently died; and I take it that this passage means that if one induces another to turn back to the Lord, he will save such from death and God will forgive a multitude of sins that they have committed. This scripture can also have a large application on the line of salvation. If you turn away from any part of God’s truth, the enemy will certainly get an advantage over you.
Does the Lord meet those who look to Him for healing and obey the instructions set forth in James? Most assuredly. Let me tell you a story to show how He will undertake for the most extreme case.
One day I had been visiting the sick, and was with a friend of mine, an architect, when I saw a young man f from his office coming down the road in a car, and holding in his hand a telegram. It contained a very urgent request that we go immediately to pray for a man who was dying. We went off in an auto as fast as possible and in about an hour and a half reached a large house in the country where the man who was dying resided. There were two staircases in that house, and it was extremely convenient, for the doctors could go up and down one, and my friend and I could go up and down the other, and so we had no occasion to meet.
I found on arrival that it was a case of this sort. The man’s body had been broken, he was ruptured, and his bowels had been punctured in two places. The discharge from the bowels had formed abscesses, and blood poisoning had set in. The man’s face had turned green. Two doctors were in attendance, but they saw that the case was beyond their power. They had telegraphed to London for a great specialist, and, when we arrived, they were at the railway station awaiting his arrival.
The man was very near death and could not speak. I said to his wife, “If you desire, we will anoint and pray for him.” She said, “That is why I sent for you.” I anointed him in the name of the Lord and asked the Lord to raise him up. Apparently there was no change. (God often hides what He does. From day to day we find that God is doing wonderful things, and we receive reports of healings that have taken place that we heard nothing about at the time of our meetings. Only last night a woman came into the meeting suffering terribly. Her whole arm was filled with poison, and her blood was so poisoned that it was certain to bring her to her death. We rebuked the thing, and she was here this morning and told us that she was without pain and had slept all night, a thing she had not done for two months. To God be all the praise. You will find He will do this kind of thing all along.)
As soon as we anointed and prayed for this brother we went down the back staircase and the three doctors came up the front staircase. As we arrived downstairs, I said to my friend who had come with me, “Friend let me have hold of your hands.” We held each other’s hands, and I said to him, “Look into my face and let us agree together, according to Matthew 18:19, that this man shall be brought out of this death.” We laid the whole matter before God, and said, “Father, we believe.”
Then the conflict began. The wife came down to us and said, “The doctors have got all their instruments out and they are about to operate.” I cried, “What? Look here, he’s your husband, and I tell you this, if those men operate on him, he will die. Go back and tell them you cannot allow it.” She went back to the doctors and said, “Give me ten minutes.” They said, “We can’t afford to, the man is dying and it is your husband’s only chance.” She said, “I want ten minutes, and you don’t touch his body until I have had them.”
They went downstairs by one staircase and we went up by the other. I said to the woman, “This man is your husband, and he cannot speak for himself. It is now the time for you to put your whole trust in God and prove Him wholly true. You can save him from a thousand doctors. You must stand with God and for God in this critical hour.” After that, we came down and the doctors went up. The wife faced those three doctors and said, “You shan’t touch this man’s body. He is my husband. I am sure that if you operate on him he will die, but he will live if you don’t touch him.”
Suddenly the man in the bed spoke. “God has done it,” he said. They rolled back the bed clothes and the doctors examined him, and the abscesses were cut clear away. The nurse cleaned the place where they had been. The doctors could see the bowels still open and they said to the wife, “We know that you have great faith, and we can see that a miracle has taken place. But you must let us unite these broken parts and put in silver tubes, and we know that your husband will be all right after that, and it need not interfere with your faith at all.” She said to them, “God has done the first thing and He can do the rest. No man shall touch him now.” And God healed the whole thing. And that man is well and strong today. I can give his name and address to any who want it.
Do you ask by what power this was done? I would answer in the words of Peter, “His name, through faith in His name, made this man strong.” The anointing was done in the name of the Lord. And it is written, “The LORD shall raise him up.” And He provides the double cure; even if sin has been the cause of the sickness, His Word declares, “If he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven,”
You ask, “What is faith?” Faith is the principle of the Word of God. The Holy Spirit, who inspired the Word, is called the Spirit of Truth, and, as we receive with meekness the engrafted Word, faith springs in our heart-faith in the sacrifice of Calvary: faith in the shed blood of Jesus; faith in the fact that He took our weakness upon Himself, has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains, and that He is our life today.
God has chosen us to help one another. We dare not be independent. He brings us to a place where we submit ourselves to one another. If we refuse to do this, we get away from the Word of God and out of the place of faith. I have been in this place once and I trust I shall never be there again. I went one time to a meeting. I was very, very sick, and I got worse and worse. I knew the perfect will of God was for me to humble myself and ask the elders to pray for me. I put it off and the meeting finished. I went home without being anointed and prayed with, and everyone in the house caught the thing I was suffering with.
My boys did not know anything else but to trust the Lord as the family Physician, and my youngest boy, George, cried out from the attic, “Dadda, come.” I cried, “I cannot come. The whole thing is from me. I shall have to repent and ask the Lord to forgive me.” I made up my mind to humble myself before the whole church. Then I rushed to the attic and laid my hands on my boy in the name of Jesus. I placed my hands on his head and the pain left and went lower down; he cried again, “Put your hands still lower.” At last the pain went right down to the feet and as I placed my hand on the feet be was completely delivered. Some evil power had evidently gotten hold and as I laid my hands on the different parts of the body it left. (We have to see the difference between anointing the sick and casting out demons.) God will always be gracious when we humble ourselves before Him and come to a place of brokenness of spirit.
I was at a place one time ministering to a sick woman, and she said, “I’m very sick. I become all right for an hour, and then I have another attack.” I saw that it was an evil power that was attacking her, and I learned something in that hour that I had never learned before. As I moved my hand down her body in the name of the Lord that evil power seemed to move just ahead of my hands and as I moved them down further and further the evil power went right out of her body and never returned.
I was in Havre in France and the power of God was being mightily manifested. A Greek named Felix attended the meeting and became very zealous for God. He was very anxious to get all the Catholics he could to the meeting in order that they should see that God was graciously visiting France. He found a certain bed-ridden woman who was fixed in a certain position and could not move, and he told her about the Lord healing at the meetings and that he would get me to come if she wished. She said, “My husband is a Catholic and he would never allow anyone who was not a Catholic to see me.”
She asked her husband to allow me to come and told him what Felix had told her about the power of God working in our midst. He said, “I will have no Protestant enter my house.” She said, “You know the doctors cannot help me, and the priests cannot help, won’t you let this man of God pray for me?” He finally consented and I went to the house. The simplicity of this woman and her child-like faith were beautiful to see.
I showed her my oil bottle and said to her, “Here is oil. It is a symbol of the Holy Ghost. When that comes upon you, the Holy Ghost will begin to work, and the Lord will raise you up.” And God did something the moment the oil fell upon her. I looked toward the window and I saw Jesus. (I have seen Him often. There is no painting that is a bit like Him: no artist can ever depict the beauty of my lovely Lord.) The woman felt the power of God in her body and cried, “I’m free, my hands are free, my shoulders are free, and oh, I see Jesus! I’m free! I’m free!”
The vision vanished and the woman sat up in bed. Her legs were still bound, and I said to her, “I’ll put my hands over your legs and you will be free entirely.” And as I put my hands on those legs covered with bed clothes, I looked and saw the Lord again. She saw Him too and cried, “He’s there again. I’m free! I’m free!” She rose from her bed and walked round the room praising God, and we were all in tears as we saw His wonderful works. The Lord shall raise them up when conditions are met.
When I was a young man I always loved the fellowship of old men, and was always careful to hear what they had to say. I had a friend, an old Baptist minister who was a wonderful preacher. I spent much of my time with him. One day he came to me and said, “My wife is dying.” I said, “Brother Clark, why don’t you believe God? God can raise her up if you will only believe Him.” He asked me to come to his house, and I looked for some one to go with me.
I went to a certain rich man who was very zealous for God, and spent much money in opening up rescue missions, and I asked him to go with me. He said, “Never you mind me. You go yourself, but I don’t take to this kind of business.” Then I thought of a man who could pray by the hour. When he was on his knees he could go round the world three times and come out at the same place. I asked him to go with me and said to him, “You’ll have a real chance this time. Keep at it, and quit when you’re through.” (Some go on after they are through.)
Brother Nichols, for that was his name, went with me and started praying. He asked the Lord to comfort the husband in his great bereavement and prayed for the orphans and a lot more on this line. I cried, “O my God, stop this man.” But there was no stopping him and he went on praying and there was not a particle of faith in anything he uttered. He did stop at last, and I said, “Brother Clark, it’s now your turn to pray. He started, “Lord, answer the prayer of my brother and comfort me in this great bereavement and sorrow. Prepare me to face this great trial.” I cried out, “My God, stop this man.” The whole atmosphere was being charged with unbelief.
I had a glass bottle full of oil and I went up tea the woman and poured the whole lot on her in the name of Jesus. Suddenly Jesus appeared, standing at the foot of the bed. He smiled and vanished. The woman stood up, perfectly healed, and she is a strong woman today.
We have a big God. We have a wonderful Jesus. We have a glorious Comforter. God’s canopy is over you and will cover you at all times, preserving you from evil. Under His wings shalt thou trust. The Word of God is living and powerful and in its treasures you will find eternal life. If you dare trust this wonderful Lord, this Lord of life, you will find in Him everything you need.
So many are tampering with drugs, quacks, pills and plasters. Clear them all out and believe God. It is sufficient to believe God. You will find that if you dare trust Him, He will never fail. “The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the LORD shall raise him up.” Do you trust Him? He is worthy to be trusted.
I was one time asked to go to Weston-super-mare, a seaside resort in the West of England. I learned from a telegram that a man had lost his reason and had become a raving maniac, and they wanted me to go to pray for him. I arrived at the place, and the wife said to me, “Will you sleep with my husband?” I agreed, and in the middle of the night an evil power laid hold of him. It was awful. I put my hand on his head and his hair was like a lot of sticks. God gave deliverance-a temporary deliverance. At 6 o’clock the next morning, I felt that it was necessary that I should get out of the house for a short time.
The man saw me going and cried out, “If you leave me, there is no hope.” But I felt that I had to go. As I went out I saw a woman with a Salvation Army bonnet on and I knew that she was going to their 7 o’clock prayer meeting. I said to the Captain who was in charge of the meeting, when I saw he was about to give out a hymn, “Captain, don’t sing. Let’s get to prayer.” He agreed, and I prayed my heart out, and then I grabbed my hat and rushed out of the hall. They all thought they had a madman in their prayer meeting that morning.
I saw the man I had spent the night with, rushing down toward the sea, without a particle of clothing on, about to drown himself. I cried, “In the name of Jesus, come out of him!” The man fell full length on the ground and that evil power went out of him never to return. His wife came rushing after him, and the husband was restored to her in a perfect mental condition.
There are evil powers, but Jesus is greater than all evil powers. There are tremendous diseases, but Jesus is healer. There is no case too hard for Him. The Lion of Judah shall break every chain. He came to relieve the oppressed and to set the captive free. He came to bring redemption, to make us as perfect as man was before the fall.
People want to know how to be kept by the power of God. Every position of grace into which you are led-forgiveness, healing, deliverance of any kind, will be contested by Satan. He will contend for your body. When you are saved, Satan will come round and say, “See, you are not saved.” The devil is a liar. If he says you are not saved, it is a sure sign that you are.
You will remember the story of the man who was swept and garnished. The evil power had been swept out of him. But the man remained in a stationary position. If the Lord heals you, you dare not remain in a stationary position. The evil spirit came back to that man and found the house swept, and took seven others worse than himself, and the last state of that man was worse than the first. Be sure to get filled with God. Get the Occupier. Be filled with the Spirit.
God has a million ways of undertaking for those who go to Him for help. He has deliverance for every captive. He loves you so much that He even says, “Before they call, I will answer.” Don’t turn Him away.
“I slipped and fell on Broadway, San Diego, in February, 1921, and as was afterwards discovered, fractured the coccyx (the base of the spine), and so severely wrenched the hips and pelvic bones that I became a great sufferer. As the broken bone was not discovered and set until about two months after the accident, the constant pain and irritation caused a general inflammation of the nervous system, and the long delay in getting the bone set, made it impossible to heal, so that, my condition steadily grew worse, and I was taken to the hospital and the bone was removed about a month after it had been set. Though the wound healed rapidly, the nervous inflammation remained, and so for many months longer I was in constant pain and unable to get around without assistance. I was taken to the first service held by Mr. Wigglesworth on the 2nd of October, 1922. At the close of the service all those who were sick and in pain and had come for healing were requested to rise if possible. My husband assisted me to my feet, and as those were prayed for by the speaker I was instantly healed. How I do not know. I only know the Great Physician touched my body and I was made whole, and freed from pain.
“After I got home I showed how I could sit down and rise with my hands above my head; when before it had taken both hands to push up my feeble body, and I had to have straps on my bed to pull up by. No more use for them now! I lay down and turned over for the first time without pain. I shall never cease to praise God for the healing of my body through the precious blood of Jesus and in His name. I walked to the street car alone the next day and attended the next service and have been “on the go” ever since. Can give names of friends who can substantiate all I have written. To Jesus be all the, praise and glory.” – Mrs. Sanders, 4051 Bay View Court, San Diego, Calif.
